Traveling as Couple
If I ever went to New Haven would stay here again. The staff was friendly. Remodel was going on, would like to see the final touches. The Starbucks coffee was served in the Lobby in the am was nice.

Solo Traveler
It became pricey because you had to pay $18.30 to park in the lot across the street. There was no fridge in room and there was very small 19 inch TV.

The room is very clean and spacious, and the hotel is next to Yale campus, so it¿s very convenience for visiting parents.

Traveling as Couple
We arrived around 10 pm and the front desk staff quickly gave us a room with queen bed. We came in, it was large and comfortable, everything seemed okay except for the fixtures are a bit old - it's an old hotel. The shower didn't work well but we survived it. When we went to bed, we found there's noise right beside the room, probably some steam machine. We called the front desk and waited for a few minute. Nobody replied. My wife called again and they said we can change a room. My wife went down to get the key, we changed the room. The shower in that room is much better, and it's very quiet. We had a good sleep. The lobby of the hotel is nicely decorated, really old world style. The staffs seemed friendly - though we were given a bad room for the 1st time, which they could have given us a good one since there were a lot of rooms available apparently. ...read more
